Out With the Old, In With the New!

Lexington, SC

Our Lexington branch settled into their new office. Allen, the branch manager, and his team started the move at the beginning of January. This is office space is about three times the size of their old office. They needed a fresh and professional workspace, and they now have that. This branch location is temporary, however. We are building a new Lexington office on one of our properties off US 1 within the next two years.

Irmo, SC

Our Irmo and Commercial branches have a NEW OFFICE! Mr. Clark is in the process of putting the finishing touches on the remodel, and moving forward our Irmo residential branch and our Clarks commercial branch is now operating  from 7701 St. Andrews Rd. Irmo, SC 29063. The Greater Irmo Chamber celebrated with an official Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, April 27, welcoming us back to The Town of Irmo. Mayor Barry Walker expressed his gratitude for us choosing to get back in town, and we are equally excited about this newly renovated space being in the heart of Irmo.

Merger in Myrtle Beach – Here We GROW Again!

Effective February 11, 2021, we closed on the acquisition of AAA Pest Control in Myrtle Beach, SC. AAA had been in business in the Grand Strand area for 13 years and we are pleased to welcome their customers to Clarks. It is even more exciting to include Jamie Eanes and Anthony Gillen as new Pest Professionals. Both of these folks come to us from AAA Pest with multiple years of experience. We welcome their new employees and customers!

Branch Spotlight – Raleigh, North Carolina

I came onboard to the Raleigh branch in June 2018 with a simple task – grow the branch and get the Clark’s Termite & Pest Control, name out there. Since then, I am proud to say that in the two years as Branch Manager, I achieved that task. I hired a reliable staff, which includes Jessie Ryals, Adam Peoples, and Brian Yawn. It took some time, but this experienced staff is focused and has driven our sales/ production goals to meet the Company’s expectations. Adam Peoples promotion to Team Lead is a given, with his pest control industry expertise and his successful driving sales attitude. I have to give a proper shout-out to our Customer Service Rep, Alec Swiniarski. Alec manages our schedules to perfection. We’re the only Clark’s branch in North Carolina, Alex has studied the cities, counties, and towns so that our team has a route that is not spread out thinly, but is concise and gets the productivity we need to thrive. Thank you, Alec! I am proud to have all of these men as my right hand. As for the branch itself, we have built relationships with builders, having only one builder in 2018 to having five builders presently-and counting. With the effects of COVID placing a lot of stress on local businesses this past year, our essential team went above and beyond to grow our branch’s numbers by 68%! I couldn’t be more proud of my team’s commitment to Clark’s to help maintain sales and production numbers, even during a pandemic. Clark’s (Raleigh) has continued to build new relationships, and we are meeting both sales and productivity goals. I am truly thankful for a superb team who again goes out of their way and walks that extra mile to assist in the branch’s success. As Thomas Edison once said, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try one more time.” Words to live by-wouldn’t you say. Not only concerning a successful business but in our personal lives as well.
